Bootable Live USB with UNetBootin[Windows, Linux]

The windows Operating System has a number of applications suitable for creating bootable USB drives. UNetBootin is open source and is licensed under GNU GPL. UNetBootin even has a Linux version as well.
“UNetbootin can create a bootable Live USB drive, and it loads distributions either by downloading a ISO (CD image) files for you, or by using an ISO file you’ve already downloaded.”

UPDATE: UNetBootin is available in default repositories of Ubuntu and install can be alternatively achieved by performing a search for ‘UNetBootin’ in Ubuntu Software Center.
In order to install latest version of UNetBootin in Ubuntu, you need to do the following in Terminal instead.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gezakovacs/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install unetbootin
